Changing Your Password

1. In the GAP Portal, click "Options" from the banner menu.

2. Click "My Profile".

3. Click "Change Password".

4. Enter your current password in the "Current Password" text box.

5. Enter your new password in the "New Password" text box.

6. Confirm your new password by entering it in the "Re-enter New Password" text box.

7. Click the "OK" button.

Setting Up 2-Step Verification

2-Step Verification requires users to provide a verification code in addition to their user name and password when logging in.

This code is supplied either via SMS or the Google Authenticator app.

The Google Authenticator app can be downloaded on the iOS and Android app stores.

2-Step Verification may be required or optional for your tenant. The setup experience will differ in each case.

Setting Up 2-Step Verification (Required Mode)

When 2-Step Verification is required for a tenant and a user is logging in for the first time, they will be asked to choose between using SMS or the Google Authenticator app just after they have logged in.

To use Google Authenticator:

1. Click "Setup 2-Step Verification via Google Authenticator".

2. Start the Google Authenticator app and scan the code shown on the screen. If you can't scan the code for whatever reason, click "Show text key instead".

3. Enter the verification code provided and click "OK".

To use SMS:

1. Click "Setup 2-Step Verification via SMS".

2. Enter a phone number in the text box.

3. Click "OK".

4. Enter the verification code provided and click "OK".

Setting Up 2-Step Verification (Optional Mode)

When 2-Step Verification is optional, a user will need to set up 2-Step Verification themselves via the GAP Portal.

To use Google Authenticator:

1. In the GAP Portal, click "Options".

2. Click "My Profile".

3. Click "2-step Verification".

4. Click "Setup 2-Step Verification via Google Authenticator"

5. Start the Google Authenticator app and scan the code shown on the screen. If you can't scan the code for whatever reason, click the "Show text key instead" button.

6. Enter the verification code provided

7. Click the "Enable 2-Step Verification" button.

To use SMS:

1. In the GAP Portal, click "Options".

2. Click "My Profile".

3. Click "2-step Verification".

4. Click "Setup 2-Step Verification via SMS".

5. Enter a phone number in the "Enter your phone number" text box.

6. Click the "Send Verification Code" button.

7. Enter the verification code provided.

8. Click the "Enable 2-Step Verification" button.
