# Supported Browsers

The most recent two production versions that were available at the time of the last GAP release are supported for the following browsers:

* Google Chrome
* Mozilla Firefox
* Microsoft Edge (Chromium version)

The most recent production version that was available at the time of the last GAP release is supported for the following browsers:

* Apple Safari

## Google Chrome Users

GAP Portal alert sounds may not play if the user hasn't interacted with the page after login.

If this is a potential issue in your environment, you may want to try running Chrome with a different auto-play policy.

After making this change, websites other than GAP will be able to automatically play content without the user needing to have first interacted with the page.

To do this, modify your usual Google Chrome shortcut (right click and then click "Properties") and append the following to the "Target" text box:

```
 --autoplay-policy=no-user-gesture-required
```
